Foreclosure homes and condos in Las Vegas and short sales comprise about 40% of the total houses and condominium listings for sale in Greater Las Vegas, Nevada. As of March 2008, these properties are being sold for less than it would cost to build them. Mortgage holders are losing tens of thousands of dollars on each foreclosed home or condo.

We have discussed pricing in a Henderson community named Glengarry at Anthem, Henderson in relation to median and average prices which are provided by the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. As you can see, the prices in these areas have fallen far more than average or median pricing.
