I have had a pretty rough month and an half. I lost my beloved father in law, Robert Hunter, who was a retired Marine Gunny Sergeant, my mom, Naheed Mojtahed-Solimani, was critically ill and spent 22 days in the hospital and when she got home my father, Mohammad-Saleh Saberzadeh, went to the hospital due to diabetes and heart problems. He is still in the hospital. This blog post will immortalize my beloved family’s name in cyber space for good.
I have been irreversibly damaged in an auto accident and one of the lasting effects of the accident is that I get pretty ill a couple of times per month. All start with a big chill running through me and I start sweating profusely and vomiting tens of times within 12 hours until it goes away. To make a short story this is a 24 carrot butt kicking and I don’t really recover from it for 72 hours. If Karen is not home, I call her and no matter what she is doing she stops and comes home as fast as she possibly can to take care of me as I am unable to do it myself.
What prompted me to write about this is that I see people that think being foreclosed upon is the end of the world and use their current financial difficulties as an excuse to pack it up and run, a couple ended their life recently in North Las Vegas. What they don’t understand is that stress is an essential part of evolution and the stress that doesn’t kill you will definitely make you stronger. You can’t imagine how proud my family and friends are of me, and I am even more proud because I have no business doing what I have accomplished so far, given that I was very much bed-ridden for a few years after the accident in 1996.
Just like the poor luxury home and condo builders in Las Vegas that were unlucky enough to finish their magnificent projects only to hit the economic freight train head on, I spent nearly two years building the web-site and hit the same. Except that our Las Vegas condos, homes, vacant land and commercial real estate for sale is performing and getting us through the tough times. We surpassed 10,000 unique visitors and 13,000 visits last month and at this time we are easily one of the top 5 Las Vegas real estate web-sites in terms of search engine dominance and referrals.
At any rate life is cyclical and one has to survive the tough times to enjoy the good. Additionally, anything that makes one forget about troubles and have a hearty laugh is good for the soul and below is Dr. Masoud’s prescription to recharge your soul. I guarantee that you will laugh like never before.
