Las Vegas luxury high rise condominium towers, which got built, canceled or under construction

January 27th, 2009 · No Comments · Las Vegas high-rise condos

Starting in 2003 and well into 2005 anyone and their auntie that had a couple of million dollars and bought a parcel of vacant land in the vicinity of Las Vegas Strip or downtown, put a fence around it, opened a small sales office, printed flashy pamphlets and claimed to be a Las Vegas high rise condo builder.

I kept writing that most of these condo projects exist so the land owner could get the parcel entitled for a high rise building so they would turn around and flip (sell the land quickly) and make a profit as many did, and that no more than 15% of these purposed condo towers will be built. As usual, I was correct and less than 15% of these were built.

Today I got an e-mail from Channelle Beller who now represents Lawyer’s Title about what happened with these Las Vegas high-rise condo projects so you can see for yourself. Many title companies in Las Vegas were bought out or merged with other title companies.
