Iranian New Year Celebration, or Norooz, always begins on the first day of spring and is celebrated as the rebirth of nature. Norooz or Nowrooz or Nurooz is one of the few national celebrations that is unrelated to religion or war and is celebrated for 13 days. People spend the thirteenth day outside and picnic. I usually try to go visit my parents and other family in Iran for the New Year and am sorry I couldn’t go this time. Anyways, I love celebrations of all kind, but Norooz is my favorite. In my case, Norooz will bring much warmer temperatures and less humidity and I couldn’t ask for a better gift. I hope all our brothers and sisters all over the world, in general, and the Original Arians, the Persians who have graced the world with achievements such as the first bill of human rights 2500 years ago, in particular, the best year ever and ask all humbly to keep me in their prayers. May the Great Creator of ours bless us all.
