2: Answer for a complaint by Texas Highway Patrol to US Marine Corp

Two Texas Highway Patrol Officers were conducting speeding enforcement on Hwy 77, just south of Kingsville, Texas.

 One of the officers was using a hand held radar device to check speeding vehicles approaching the town of Kingsville.  The officers were suddenly surprised when the radar gun began reading 300 miles per hour and climbing.

  The officer attempted to reset the radar gun, but it would not reset and then it suddenly turned off. 

 Just then a deafening roar over the Mesquite treetops on Hwy 77 revealed that the radar had in fact locked on to a USMC F/A-18 Hornet which was engaged in a low flying exercise near this, it’s Naval Air home base location in Kingsville TX.

 Back at the Texas Highway Patrol Headquarters in Corpus Christi the Patrol Captain fired off a complaint to the US Naval Base Commander in Kingsville for shutting down his equipment.

 The reply came back in true USMC style:

 ’Thank you for your letter….  

 You may be interested to know that the tactical computer in the Hornet had detected the presence of, and subsequently locked on to, your HOSTILE radar equipment and automatically sent a jamming signal back to it, which is why it shut down.

 Furthermore, an Air-to-Ground missile aboard the fully armed aircraft had also automatically locked on to your equipment’s location.  

   Fortunately, the Marine Pilot flying the Hornet recognized the situation for what it was, quickly responded to the missile system alert status and was able to override the automated defense system before the missile was launched to destroy the HOSTILE radar position on the side of Hwy 77 South of Kingsville.

 The pilot suggests you cover your mouths when cussing at them, since the video systems on these jets are very high tech. 

 Sergeant Johnson, the officer holding the radar gun, should get his dentist to check his left rear molar. It appears the filling is loose. Also, the snap is broken on his holster.

The importance of having a bank account cannot ever be denied. There are always going to be items that are on sale, for discount, or going for a bargain. Make sure you check all of your options before spending a great deal of money on something you need – another store might have it for cheaper.

By effectively combining a budget with discount items, a person will realize they can save heaps of money. I will try to write this blog as simply as I possibly can as the subject at hand is extremely complicated, so here we go.

Zero=Zero unless something changes Zero to something else

Dr. Hawkins goal has been to understand the “mind of the Creator”, impossible since our brains are wired for four dimensions and not 11 dimensions that the M theory claims to compromise our Universe or Multi-verse as the case may be.

Let’s use number 1 for our existing world and Zero for the infinitesimally short period of time before the Big Bang. Then we have

Zero (Zero Space, Zero Time) à Big Bang à 1= Our World

Ask any scientist that agrees with the Big Bang about what is Zero Space Time and what can happen in nothing (Zero Space Zero Time) and watch them get stuck in the mud like a tired donkey. Ask again, how a colossal explosion can happen in nothing, no-where and at no time (Zero Space, Zero Time) and they are stuck again.

Inflation theory says that before the BIG Bang there was no space or time and time-space was created in a singularity at the instant of the Big Bang. Zero Minus represents an extremely short period of time before the singularity. There is Zero Space Time, then at the singularity (Big Bang) Zero Space Time changes to Space Time in a magnificent explosion which created our world and all that is in it and all that is going to be in it.

The Power that caused Zero time space to become our world is The Creator, otherwise ZERO would remain ZERO. In order for Hawking to be right there must always be Space Time since Gravity needs Space Time to exist. This violates the Big Bang and the main question remains, where did Space Time come from since Time is a Vector and must have a starting point.

Inflation Theory and String Theory are widely accepted by scientists of our time, until someone proves them wrong, but at the moment we don’t know what 96% of our universe is made up of and call it dark matter (we have no idea what it is) and dark energy. How can any scientist claim that there is proof that there is no Creator when we are totally ignorant about 96% of our Universe, let alone eleven-dimensional Multi-verses.

What irritates the heck out of me is that Hawking or many others discuss our Creator as if the Most Holy is a shirt. Oh, gravity makes the Creator unnecessary!  Whenever man creates the Creator then they can decide if the Most Holy is necessary or not.

 One has to decide if there is a Creator or not based on evidence, and the best evidence is

1: Creation itself

3: order imposed after the creation that we are learning about in the form of various scientific formulas

2: the Creator programmed our brains to look for Creator for as long as we can go back people have

4: Steven Hawking himself, the best physician in the world had him expiring decades ago, it is only by Grace of our Creator that he is alive

5: infinite number of other reasons

In my view, the most important decision that anyone makes in life is deciding if a Creator has created our world or not, no one can force a person to believe one way or the other. If one is blessed enough to believe in the creator, then he/she worships the Creator that is One for all. This Creator can’t be used to propagate hate as many religion incorporated entities do, only LOVE since that is the reason that our world was created. Creators Love for us that is.

I personally think that we live in an 11 dimensional multi-verse and that our universe is alive and just like all information about a human baby is encoded in his DNA. All information about what happens ant any instant in our universe was imbedded in the singularity at the instant of the birth of universe, which is why no information is ever lost in our universe. But that is just me and I can’t prove this just as Hawking can’t prove what he says.

 The only sure way to find out for sure is to believe and pray to the Most Holy and understand the answer we it is received. Blessed are those do.

It pains me to write something negative about Professor Hawking as aside from prayers, he is the bright beacon that has gotten me through the car accident to 15 years later. As bad as my condition got, I thought that he has it far worse than me and and if he can go on excelling, I can do whatever I set my mind too. I love Hawking, but he is not perfect.

There is a farmers market on Saturday mornings in Pahrump, NV where you can find them selling their fresh eggs along with other produce they grow. They brought us a dozen of these eggs yesterday to try out and they are delicious, fresh and give you the needed Omega 3 that everyone should be adding to their diet. Detailed instructions for manually upgrading WordPress can be found here. First one has to download the new version of WordPress and un-zip it to the computer’s hard drive, which I do.

A: Download the new version and unzip it. You will have an option on where to download the unzip folder for example C:\Users\….\Downloads\wordpress-3.0.1. However this gives you a nested folder. So make sure you delete the last part and unzip to C:\Users\….\Downloads\, this way you can upload the folder by itself.

Now the WordPress instructions tell you to delete all files and folders, except a few, before uploading the new version to the server. Here is where WordPress Codex and I part ways. I download files and folders that WordPress doesn’t want me to delete from the server to their appropriate folders in the new version of WordPress on my computer and choose (overwrite all option) while doing it.

Here is the detailed steps; I open the FTP program and can see the new version of WordPress on my computer and the old version on the server.

1: I back up the old WordPress to my computer with one click

2: Deactivate Plugins

3: Download wp-config.php file; to the WordPress folder on my computer

4: Download the wp-content folder from the server to the new one on my computer, open it and delete wp-content/cash and wp-content/plugins/widgets

5: Download wp-images from the server to my computer and overwrite all files

6: Download wp-includes languages to the new wordpress on my computer

7: Download robots. Text and .htaccess to the new version of WordPress  on my computer

8: If WordPress is at the root of your site, download robots.text file also

9: Upload the new version of WordPress from your computer to the server and use the option of overwrite all while doing it

10: You are done and now you can upgrade your plugins or permalinks and re-activate plugins

I have done this and have never been disconnected from the wordpress-admin page, this is seamless. Other than backing up the old version of WordPress from the server to my computer which takes time, the rest can be done in less than 5 minutes and with less than 10 clicks and it works.

I am not a specialist at this and would highly appreciate comments.

BP Corporate Tree and Small People

When top level guys like BP President look down, they see only shit, or small people

These poor widows and their children are our sisters, nieces and nephews under GOD, and I am pissed at how they have been treated by the A. Hole BP president and their dumber than a potato public relations.

Damage from showing these widows on TV news, telling the world that BP has done NOTHING to HELP them has caused so much additional damage that stupid BP public relations can’t wash out with additional millions to spend on their arrogant commercials.

 Not even checking with the fallen BP employee’s widows, BP proved how little they care for human beings, even if he/she is one their own. The only language BP understands has to have Pound, Dollar or Euro with a bunch of zeros at the end. British Petroleum’s history is like King Henry the Eighth, full of corruption and brutality and their action with regard to the current troubles is well in line with BP’s culture through out history.

I do not like violence or taking illegal actions against British Petroleum, but am all for not buying BP products. I don’t believe in making those who kill our Creator’s beautiful creations and devastate our environment even richer or more powerful..

I understand that fixing a pipe at 5000 feet is difficult, but BP could have done far better in collecting it.

One last thought; throughout history, there were dominating super powers which disintegrated in a few decades or centuries, good examples would be Persian, Greek, Roman Empires and recently USSR (RIP). Before any of these powers lost to a foreign enemy, they badly lost to corruption.

Definition of corruption: Issuing drilling permits without figuring out what happens if something goes wrong, or Federal Employees applying for a job at an oil company which you are examining for a permit.

We celebrated Sandy’s birthday on Friday, she is 29 years and many months old, as you can see by her picture below. A good time was had by all. We have an awesome office and  the best office staff that run it.

 As soon as I looked, I told her that this e-mail is spam or worse; the giveaway sign is a return address which is different than the sender’s e-mail address. I also Googled the IP number that the e-mail originated from, and it is a Spammer IP.

 Who would e-mail an inquiry without the name of the city? The spammer was too lazy and stupid to have the name of the city automatically filled in rather than using the generic term city.

 I never clicked at the return link to see what happens, but if you were silly enough to answer this scum bag, at the minimum, be prepared for a flood of junk mail.

I will write a memorial about him at a later time. At any rate I am back in the US and ready to go to work. I wish to thank my extended family and our many friends in Iran, Europe and United States who shared our sorrow and helped us with the burial and memorials for my father in two different cities, Tonkabon in the North of Iran and Tehran. Baba is survived by my Mom, Naheed Mojtahed Soleimani and my brothers Parviz Saberzadeh who is a Senior Master (7^th degree black belt) in ATA (American Taekwondo Association), my youngest brother Dr. Mehdi Saberzadeh who is a surgeon and me, plus Karen and Dr. Mitra Mehrazma, Mehdi’s wife.

Lastly, life is about short periods of time (instances) and opportunities that come with the instances and I am extremely happy that I went to Iran and visited with my family once a year for about a month. I got to share my father’s life with him and am not a stranger with my immediate or extended family. There would not be any opportunity to make up for the past now.

Go visit you family and friends while you can and they are here and worship our Good Creator as no one knows what a second from now will bring. There is an end for everything.

4: Plastic surgeons and gigolos should receive explosive training.

5: From now on, any large breasted women with PMS should be classified as weapons of mass destruction.

5: Instead of enlarging their breast by size they can order by explosive power. Hey doc, I want to enlarge my breast by two mega tons.

6: Breast implants can come in C4 or TNT or black gun powder.

I am not a believer in dates and anniversaries because the day before the New Year is going be the same as the first day of the New Year except a bunch of people have hangovers. New Year, anniversaries and like are a way for the people to manufacture a discontinuity in the time space so they can have a new beginning and new hope. Except that every second of a person’s life is a new beginning and hope.

Our breaking down problems continue and I set a new world record or so I think. I wrote that we have replaced our phones, modem, router and I had to buy a new laptop, except that the computer keeps crashing, Windows7 is not as good as advertised. My brother switched his cell phone with me as his was much better and I lost it the first time I got out of our home taking my brother to the airport. I think it dropped off my belt when I got out of the car. Losing a phone so fast should be some kind of a record and the day before that my car broke down. This breaking streak is starting to get on my nerves.

My brother Parviz left for Iran to help take care of our parents and this puts my mind at ease. Although we achieved a great deal last year, I didn’t enjoy our victories, how could I when I know my parents are suffering.

We are going to hire a couple of people to help set up the Trustee Sale Auction and I am going to inform you when I am ready and it should be in the next three weeks. I will write a great deal about this later. I will blog about the Las Vegas real estate market next. We have been much busier than I thought from Thanksgiving to the first of the year and that means that the market activity for homes and condos will be very heavy in the next few months.

James Bain spent 35 years in jail after being found guilty of kidnapping and raping a nine-year-old boy in 1974 when he was 19 years old back then. However, we have been experiencing serious phone and internet problems all last week and it is ongoing. We have tried to fix this by getting a new modem and buying a new router. Poor Cox Cable has done their best to help us but we have not been able to totally solve our problems yet. Karen was answering e-mails at 11pm when we got internet, which we lost the next day. Last year has been tough physically and rewarding spiritually and there has been a lot to be thankful for last year and chief among them is that I am still walking and working and making a living with dignity. I am thankful because 10-12 years ago, I could not even dream of being as “healthy‼!” as I am today, let alone making a living. All I wanted then was to be able to sleep for more than 2-3 hours a day.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving with retired Chief Master Sergeant Frank, Maria and their son and my brother in-law and his wife. Frank and Maria are former customers and now best friends. Frank and his son are both veterans and had 30 years of military service between them. I think that every Thanksgiving dinner should have at least one veteran guest to honor and be thankful for.

Funny; A bank robber decided to rob a bank and was rude enough to cut through the line and went right to the teller, showed his gun and note and demanded money. The person behind him who didn’t know this was a robbery got mad and yelled at the bank robber who turned around and shot him summarily. Then the bank robber asked he next person if he had any problems with him cutting in the line. The guy answered not me but my wife does.

Iran is a young and vibrant country with 60% of its population under 30 years old, which is slowly, but progressively moving toward democracy. Now, democracy is representative of the society and in Iranian culture, democracy is a new phenomenon which has to be learned and the new generation (under 30) has learned it well. I was amazed at the tolerance and respect that followers of different presidential candidates showed toward each other. I never even saw these people so much as yell at each other while campaigning for their candidate.

Iranian society is a mixture of authoritarian and democratic societies which is moving toward democracy.   Iranians at all levels like to meddle in their relative’s and friend’s life and fully expect for their advice to be followed. Parents feel that they are the ones who should choose their kids spouses, field of study or future job, etc.

Even at low levels, a significant number of private or government workers do not feel that it is their job to help customers and act as if they are doing the customer a favor. Management is weak. I will give an example here, Queuing Theory is a graduate level engineering course that discusses the most efficient way to receive an information packet from the internet that is waiting in a line or queue. The same can be applied to a bank line were tellers have to help bank customers that are waiting in a line. It is mathematically proven that most efficient to do this is to have a roped line that you see in airports or banks. All customers can wait in one line and can be called upon by the bank teller when a vacancy is created and the teller is ready to receive the next customer. Doing so saves time, maintains order, so no one can cut into the line and makes it easier on the teller as they can call on new customers when they are ready. I have never seen this in any bank, hospital or any other place in Iran, except at the airport. People gather at a bank counter on both sides of the teller and can see what other customers are doing; there is perpetual pressure on the teller as he has to answer multiple customers at the same time. While Mr. Ahmadinejad wants to manage the world, I suggest that he start with banks and governmental agencies in Iran, all he needs is some rope and polls. Nevertheless an evolutionary cultural change in people’s attitude toward order is needed and it takes time; not all is the governments fault.

Now, about Mr. Ahmadinejad, A leader has to be a good manager, a problem solver and have a vision for the future of the country. Mr. Ahmadinejad lacks all of these qualities. He is not a good manager since he has squandered more than $275 billion dollars in oil revenue in his four years of presidency by implementing the wrong policies. Iran’s economy is suffering from double digit inflation and although employment is defined as working more than 2 hours week, still unemployment in Iran is in double digits.

His talent is not managing numbers but he is very good at making them up. In his presidential campaign video he claimed to have started 100,000 projects and finished 70,000. He has been president for 3 years and 10 months or 1368 days. If he worked 24 hours a day and dedicated all his time to these projects, he has started and finished 51 projects a day or 1 every ½ hour. Just how much thought and planning could have gone into these projects? How many jobs did they create? What is the long term effect of these projects? No wonder the economy is in shambles.

His foreign policy and unmeasured claims and speeches have resulted in imposition of damaging sanctions on Iran and severe damage to the international image of a peace loving country which has not started a war in the last 300 years, however has been attacked repeatedly. One can’t go through life by screaming that I am going to slap this, punch that and wipeout the other, while doing none. As the ugly in the Good, The Bad and The Ugly said, when you want to shoot, shoot, don’t talk. Although hard working and not financially corrupt, Mr. Ahmadinejad is a power hungry political knife fighter who wrongly attacked his opponent’s wife (a no no in Iran) in a debate and doesn’t possess the temperament to be a president. A president is supposed to act like a gentleman after all.

Reformers in Iran decided to fight Mr. Ahmadinejad by nominating Mr. Mir Hussein Mosavi an ex-prime minister who I am told managed Iran well during the 8 year war with Iraq.  I don’t know much about him. He was chosen because he has impeccable revolutionary credentials and can’t be accused of corruption or being an agent of foreign governments. He was pretty much out of government for the last 20 years.

In the last nights of my stay in Iran, I witnessed campaigning like I have never seen in the last 30 years in the US. There was an amazing backlash against Mr. Ahmadinejad. Tehran a city of 14 million plus was shut down after 7 pm until 4 am by campaigners gathering in the streets. People were campaigning for Mr. Mosavi and many who didn’t vote in the last 30 years were going to vote this time. This makes a 2 to 1 landslide in favor of Mr. Ahmadinejad very unlikely. All know what happened since the result of the election was announced, in one demonstration, 3 million demonstrated in favor of Mr. Mosavi (Tehran City Hall announced this number). Again demonstrators have showed their maturity and tolerance by minimizing damage to public or private properties.

Regardless of the outcome of the current situation, Mr. Mosavi has suddenly gained the support and leadership of at least 33% of the population (Iranian government’s number) who are educated, rich, computer savvy, digitally connected and highly motivated. These people braved the unknown when they demonstrated for the first time after the election and are standing up to the establishment. I certainly hope that he can lead them well by out-thinking his opponents and not getting in to a premature scrimmage with the government. He has time to identify, organize, network and impose discipline on his backers and in two to four years he will be unstoppable while winning election after election. Winning in politics, as in any other matter needs preparation and time and thinking.

One last point: All of a sudden the same Republicans, like the chief hypocrite Mr. Cantor, who were calling for a US attack on Iran or bombing it to oblivion are suddenly worried about human rights in Iran. Don’t believe crocodile tears, these guys know very well that any US comment or backing of the demonstrators is the kiss of death to them, literary. If the US or backs the demonstrators, they will be called the agents of a foreign government and enemies of Islam in which case wiping them out will be the government’s duty and President Obama knows this. Those US politicians that are “backing freedom in Iran” want nothing more than an Iran that is burning in a civil war.  An unstable Iran or one in civil war is not in the best interest of the US as Iran is the chief enemy of Al-Qaida and Taliban in the Middle East.

I have not qualified my statement with race, religion or nationality or political affiliation as I truly believe with all my heart that we are all creations of the “same creator” on earth and brothers and sisters as such. I have frequently congratulated our Chinese, American, African, Moslem, Christian, Jewish, Indian, etc and Iranian brothers and sisters on their happy occasions. Needless to say, as an Iranian- American who has lived 31 out of my 50 years in United States I feel closer to and like my Iranian and American brothers and sisters a bit more than the rest.

I usually try to go visit my beloved mother (Naheed Soleymani), father Mohammad Saleh Saberzadeh (Baba)and brother (Dr. Mehdi Saberzadeh) and dear sister-in-law who I love as if she was my sister (Professor Mitra Mehrazma) and Aria my nephew and other relatives once a year. I have done this for about 20 years and am very happy about it as my own family is not strangers to me.

This year the trip was much more serious as my 81 year old father who has a bad heart (six bypasses), diabetes and other problems is going through last chance chemotherapy to cure his leukemia and having a hard time with it. The medications that he takes have had an adverse effect on his brain and at times he is unable to put a sentence together. This and sever osteoporosis which has ravaged my mother’s body had brought sadness to their home and everyone was depressed, even my younger brother who was one of the top medical students in the country and currently is a surgeon. On the other hand, by the time that I left for Iran, I was in a great deal of trouble myself and was practically unable to walk more than a couple of minutes due to my bad knees and all the joints in my body were on fire.  I couldn’t go on anymore and wanted a full checkup.

Before I left for Iran, I prayed to our Creator to bring happiness and healing with me to our home and to my amazement that is exactly what happened. Baba (my father) went through a vicious round of chemotherapy unbelievably well, a couple of days after his treatment he was eating half a pound of ice cream at a time and for the first time I heard him laugh out loud. My brother, Dr. Mehdi Saberzadeh, his wife and dear sister-in-law and other doctors were dumbfounded and attributed this to Baba’s happiness due to my arrival.  I told them that they were wrong, it was a prayer answered.

Although I was hoping that knee surgeries would take care of my knee problems, I was told by two of the top knee surgeons in Iran that the only solution is knee replacement surgeries which I am not ready for. The doctors also discovered serious problems with joints in my neck and onset of serious osteoporosis, which is reversible.  A life style change is unavoidable.  Other than the left knee I feel much better and my body is not on fire any longer although that is subject to change without notice.

Next I will write about the election in Iran and the current heroic efforts of our sisters and brothers in Iran to challenge the government of  Mr. Ahmadinejad who has done great damage to Iran and Iranians and needs to be stopped. Notice that I have put Iranian sisters before brothers as  they are taking a leading role in these protests and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw one of them repeatedly karate kick an anti-riot policeman on TV.

I was hoping to catch up on my analysis of Las Vegas real estate prices by grids and other matters, such as updating residential market reports which I am 4 months behind on while in Iran. Needless to say this didn’t happen due to not having DSL until 4 days before my return trip. There are a ton of investors that I have to contact since I am the one who takes care of them. Real estate blogs start after I get done with this series and there is much to discuss.

West Charleston Boulevard is a six lane street and the speed limit is 45 miles per hour and we were traveling on the west direction in the rightmost or slow lane. I believe that I was driving at the speed limit and a SUV was driving a bit more than a car length in front of me in the middle lane. Karen and Cecilia were discussing a condo that she really liked. 

About 70-100 yards west of Rampart I heard a thud and to my horror saw a girl flying about 5 feet in the air and 10-15 feet from the right to land right in front of my car. She was 15-20 feet away at the time. I never saw this girl since the SUV and another car in the third lane completely blocked her, she appeared out thin air. I floored the brake and turned a hard right to miss her, there was no time to avoid hitting her by just braking only, as the car stopped about 15-20 yards past where she hit the ground.

Turns out that a teenage girl decided to go across the Charleston Boulevard, which is a six lane street on a bike that was clearly too small for her. The lady who was in the far left lane  had seen her, honked the horn and stopped, told me that she wasn’t even looking at the oncoming traffic and  was hit by the car in the middle lane, the back tire of her bike was the point of impact and why she was flying through the air. She eventually got up, crying and screaming and was combative with the medical personnel from an ambulance that finally took her. She made a few fatal mistakes. One is to try to cross Charleston while not in a pedestrian lane, another by riding the bike and not walking it across and another by not looking at oncoming traffic. Death missed her by .3 seconds. The reason I keep mentioning .3 seconds is that a car travels about 76 feet per second at 45 miles per hour and she was no more that 15-20 feet in front of me when I saw her.

Funny how we get tested in our life and end up doing the unthinkable, given the injuries that I sustained in another auto accident 13 years ago, my absolute nightmare situation is to see another wall coming at me at high speed and me having no control over the car. Last time it happened (I was a passenger) we hit a rebar re-enforced wall so hard that it exploded and I got badly injured. After many surgeries, cortisone and other shots and thousands of pills, I am still dealing with pain and discomfort on a daily basis.

I could not think of any circumstances that would make me voluntarily hit a wall or tree or a pole head on. But I was not given much of a choice here, I had less than .3 seconds to decide and act. I wish I could tell you that I made a conscious decision at that time to miss her, I did not, at times like this who you are decides how you will act, no time to think. This I can tell you that I knew if I hit her, she was dead.

Anyway, for some reason when one is in a mortal situation, time slows down, so somehow I completely missed her, left my lane and somehow found the sidewalk and found myself trying to avoid trees. Miraculously, I stopped the car without hitting any trees or damage to anyone. Check out the tire tracks in the pictures. I did the steering while applying full brakes, thank GOD for ABS.

She would have been 23^rd traffic fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this

year. But that number went to another woman. Below are the details

“ Metro’s Fatal Accident Detail says a dark late-model Ford pickup struck a woman around 10 p.m. on Lake Mead Boulevard near Nellis. 

The female victim, still unidentified, was crossing Lake Mead mid-block when she was hit.  After hitting the woman, the driver of the pickup continued eastbound fleeing the scene. When paramedics arrived the woman was pronounced dead.”

Thanks to GOD I wasn’t the one doing the killing, it would have destroyed me.
